Lagganlia Holiday 2009

This years Dadswork annual holiday is taking place from Monday 10th August to Friday 14th August 2009 at Lagganlia Outdoor Education Centre near Aviemore.

9 fathers and 13 children aged 1 - 16 yrs old went to Lagganlia Ourdoor Education Centre near Aviemore and tried a variety of activities which personally challenged their self esteem , confidence and personal boundaries.

We were accomodated in the Caerketton and Sgorans Lodges which were comfortable and luxurious, breakfast , lunch and supper were provided in each lodge and we all came together to eat in the Sgorans lodge to eat evening dinner , which allowed the children and dads to talk about their day as we sometimes seperated for the activities.

Monday (PM) Riverside Walk               (Eve) Nightline Rope Walk 

Tuesday (AM) Gorge Walk                   (PM) Snowboarding & Assualt Course / Tree Climb & Leap of Faith(as from BBC programme Raven)                                                     (Eve) Games and Sports

Wednesday (AM & PM) Rock Climbing / Abseiling and Findhorn Bay Beach     (EVE) Breadmaking and Singing in the Teepee with Bagpipes

Thursday (AM) Kayaking & Canoeing  (PM) Orienteering / Archery & Tree Climb  (EVE) River Swimming & Evaluation

Friday (AM) Leave & Return Home
