5 dads and 7 children took part in activities provided by Historic Scotland Ranger Service at Holyrood Park during October Mid Term break. We had a nice stroll up Arthur's Seat to Hunters Bog and Hunters Quarry where we seen the oldest rocks in the park, we walk on towards the loch to see the swans and the ducks. After lunch and a quick game of football we had a go at willow weaving and bow drilling where the children made very nice wooden necklaces. We also took part in a geology timeline and had a quiz about volcanoes. .jpg) .jpg)
