 The East Lothian Summer Series is a series of 6 handicap races run throughout the summer. It is jointly organised by the 3 East Lothian running clubs but is also open to members of the East Lothian Jog Scotland group and the East Lothian Triathlon Club. Each club hosts 2 races each with each race being between 5km and 8km in length.
Runners can take part in as many races as they want but need to run 4 to qualify for a final position. At £3 for all 6 races it is great value as well as being good fun. Those planning to take part should submit a 5km time or 10km to Gordon prior to the start of the series.
The final race in Dunbar is followed by a prize giving and barbeque at John Muir Country Park.
