The annual handicap race will take the place of the usual club night. As usual meet at the sports centre at 7PM. The race will cover the same course as the last 2 years and will be about 1.5M. Following the race there will be a meal at the Ravelston Hotel where a table is booked from 8:15.

Please contact Roger if you plan to participate in the race or come to the meal. You are welcome to come for the meal if you don't feel like taking part in the race.

Handicaps will be based on this years Summer Series times. If you did not do any of these races then please contact Roger with a time of any race you have done recently.

Saturday 6th September : Turf Cutting Race

We have invited the Dunbar and Haddington clubs to join us for this new event. The course is approximately 7.5 miles (unless you know of any shortcuts) and will be run in an orienteering style with the Turf Cutting stations being the checkpoints. There are 12 of these stations in and around Musselburgh. The race will start and finish at Pinkie playing fields where changing facilities will be available. We plan to have some lunch following this and we are looking for club members to bring something along possibly some soup or sandwiches on the day.
