A hot and muggy night saw runners take on the scenic but challenging 5th race in the series, up by the Esk and round by Inveresk.
A mass sprint finish at the end, for once, proved the handicapping was correct - but made life difficult for the timekeepers!! (Thanks to Henry for helping out).
Remember the last race in the series is in two weeks time (Tuesday 18th) at John Muir Country Park in Dunbar. There will be a BBQ after the run.
This race was a MDAC championship counter. Looks like Alex has secured the men’s title for this year. Jean Rutherford has gone to the top of the ladies’ rankings, with the probability of extending her lead this weekend at the Haddington Half.
